Youth Rugby vs. Cedarbrae from Toronto

One of the largest and best-equipped high schools in Toronto, Cedarbrae Collegiate Institute challenges our strapping Bahamian youth. At 5 pm Thurs, Apr 5th, they play CV Bethel/SAC coached by Big Mac and Stephen Thompson and at 3pm on Sat, Apr 7th against a Nassau Select side coached by Dorian Roach and Kevin Salabie. Doris Johnson up ended Cedarbrae 33-22 on Tuesday, despite the canucks being technically better. The 1300+student school is famous for the 1999 movie Detroit Rock City. COB's Creative Art Expo Colour Of Harmony

Organised by the School of Communication and Creative Arts, the annual Colour of Harmony, held in April of each year, showcases the talents of Art and Music majors and recognises a significant contributor to the development of the arts in The Bahamas through the presentation of the E. Clement Bethel Award. Held under the patronage of Governor-General Hon. Arthur D. Hanna, the event begins with a concert featuring the COB Concert Band and Choir and musical selections by individual students. This is the most famous regatta, and usually the biggest, held in Elizabeth Harbour, George Town, with much festivity. Native sloops compete for the end-of-season Baha Mar Boat of the Year Award, celebrated at a banquet. Baha Mar pledged $35,000 towards this year's cash prizes. All Andros & Berry Island Regatta winning sloops were: Goodnews (Class A), Eudeva (Class B) and Lady Eunice (Class C). The government plans to announce regatta sailing will officially replace cricket as the country's national sport.
