On Thurs Aug 23 at 7:30 pm Electro Telecom Cybots play Drake University, the last of four games against Bahamian teams. Albany & South Ocean Town Meeting #2

The second of two town meetings held by the Ministry of Works and Transport to discusss the two future projects and new roads. Topics may also access to the beach, the environment, preservation of reefs and economic benefits. The Ministry has arranged for a free bus service from Adelaide, Gambier and Mount Pleasant. To be held from 6:30 to 9 pm at St. Paul's Church Hall, Lyford Cay.

NAGB Summer Film Series

"Paradise Now." Film is about two young men in Nablas on the West Bank, who have volunteered to be suicide bombers and received word it will be the following day. They pose as settlers in Tel Aviv for a wedding but something goes wrong and they're separated. The action is postponed long enough for renewed questioning of what they were about to do. Suha, the well-educated and well-traveled daughter of a martyr, challenges the action. Directed by Hany Abu-Assad. Rated PG-13. Free admission. First Fitness Competition

The Bahamas Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation holds its first Ms. Fitness Competition and Men's Bally Boot Camp Fitness Challenge. The Fitness Competition will judge women in short, medium and tall categories and will include two piece, sports wear and cocktail gown performances. Men will be judged on physique, the Pull Up & Push Up Challenges and the Boot Camp Challenge. Apply using forms at: Bally Total Fitness, Better Bodies, Mystique Gym, Iron Man and Fanta-C Fitness. The Bahamas Football Assocation hosts the Caribbean Football Union's Group F qualifying tournament for under 23 men. The Olympic Games qualifier pits The Bahamas against the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. The schedule is: Sept 2nd: The Bahamas vs US Virgin Islands at 3 pm. Sept 4th: US Virgin Islands vs British Virgin Islands 5 pm. Sept 6th: The Bahamas vs British Virgin Islands at 5 pm. All matches are held at the BFA National Centre for Football Development, near St. John's College, Oakes Field.
